Mid-States Distributing Company is a buying organization that has been serving home, farm and fleet retailers across North America since 1952. Our organization is comprised of 49 independent retail chains with more than 600 locations throughout the United States and Canada.

Our primary function is to assist our members to meet their sales and profit goals. Using our combined buying power to develop merchandising and marketing programs allows them to effectively operate in today’s competitive marketplace. Because Mid-States is a non-profit cooperative that derives its operating income from membership dues, the results of our programs are passed directly to the members with no upcharges.

Our merchandise mix consists of virtually every retail merchandise category from clothing to hardware to agricultural products.
